Zen simply means to meditate. To practise Zen we just do. During our Zazen, or seated meditation, we use simple breathing techniques, an open, unborn mind, or visualisation to encourage the mind to unwind and reconnect with the body. After our practise we aim to bring that mindfulness to everyday life. Regular practise brings a powerful sense of calm and focus. We stop reacting and start connecting. I hold Zen sessions every morning at 6:30am for 30mins at my home in Cookham.
